There’s something both glorious and sad about the rough look and feel … and even the quietly rustling sound … of a late autumn garden. No one has paid any attention to the weeds in quite some long time, so all kinds of interesting things are growing with abandon among the soon-to-be-ruins.
Yet here and there in all that haphazardness, there is the last hurrah: pumpkins!
As you can see in the photos, this piece features some reverse applique, which provides for a very interesting dimensional effect. The completed runner measures 34 1/2″ x 13″.
Packed into a clear 9″ x 12″ zip lock bag, the contents of your pattern include a cover page with two color photographs of the completed piece, detailed instructions, six pages of pattern elements , a list of fabric requirements, and a line drawing of the entire runner, comprising six pages, which you’ll need to trim and/or tape together, referencing the layout.
If you are also purchasing the kit, it will include the brown wool background fabric and all the beautiful wool fabric for the pumpkins, their leaves and vines, the weeds, the berries, and all the flowers along the bottom.
