Nothing like a farm auction on a crisp autumn morning … wandering around the grounds before it starts, coffee in hand, lazily taking in all things that will, in a little while, be held up high by the assistants, while the rapid-fire voice of the auctioneer gathers bids. And … if you’re me, your curiosity takes you around a back corner of the barn, where what do you find but a little potting shed … with things you wish were also up for auction. Oh, that churn … I want that churn! Oh, and the old firkin … and look at that lovely old gathering basket! Ohh!
This wall hanging is REALLY FUN to stitch together. Finished, it measures 28″ x 16″ (not including the hanging tabs).
Your pattern is packed into a clear 9″ x 12″ zip lock bag. Its contents include a cover page with a color photograph of the completed project, detailed instructions, several pages of pattern elements, a list of fabric requirements, and a line drawing of the entire runner, comprising eight pages, which you trim and tape together, in order to reference the layout.
If you are also purchasing the kit, it will include the brown wool background fabric and all the wool fabric for the pumpkins, apples, firkin, butter churn, table, and the basket. AND the garden twine for the vines!
