Description
The design and colors for the three square “quilt” blocks in this piece are inspired by a combination of 1800s folk art, including stenciling, redware, frakturs, and traditional Pennsylvania Dutch art work.
Your finished wall hanging, or table runner if you prefer, will measure 25″ x 9″ and will blend beautifully in any of a variety of 1800s-themed homes.
Your pattern is packed into a clear 9″ x 12″ zip-lock bag. Its contents will include a cover page with a color photograph of the completed project, as shown above, a page of detailed instructions, a page of pattern elements, and a page with a full-size line drawing of the block that is repeated three times in this design.
If you are also purchasing the kit, you will receive, in addition to the pattern, the coat-weight 100% black wool fabric for the background and the hanging tabs, and all the mill and/or hand dyed and felted wool fabrics for the three blocks. Since most stitchers have their own preferences with regard to thread/floss and backing fabrics, they are not included in the kit.
