Description

If you love embroidery as much as you love wool applique, this colorfully gorgeous, 23 1/2″ x 14″ appliqued and embroidered table runner is for you! The pattern, an extensive’n’comprehensive 22 pages! is packed into a clear 9″ x 12″ recloseable bag. It includes a full-color cover page, extra pages of up-close-and-detailed color photos of the stitching used throughout the design, as well as detailed, full-size line drawings of the entire project. Also included are pages with drawings of all the shaped elements used throughout the design. Detailed written instructions and a comprehensive list of fabric requirements are also included.

The kit includes the thickly felted ivory wool fabric for the foremost background, the warm light green 100% WOOL FELT background, as well as all the colorful, hand-dyed and felted wool fabrics to complete this project. As most stitchers prefer to choose their own type of backing fabric, and their own brand of thread/floss, these are not included in the kit. The original was appliqued with 2 strands of matching DMC floss (skeins), and embroidered entirely with DMC Pearl Cotton #8 … if you plan to use that (which I recommend), a color photo of the exact threads used, is also included in the pattern.
