“Jacobean Round Square” is a lovely, colorful 17″ square table topper, the center of which is a perfect place for a simple vase full of uncomplicated blooms … or a favorite candle.
The photo immediately below is of the original design from a couple years ago. Having sold the the finished table topper back then, I decided to stitch up a new, slightly different version early in 2017 (shown in the photo representing this listing).
The line drawing of the pattern that your will receive is drawn from the original, with all of its somewhat more ornate embellishment stitching; however, the pattern now includes a detailed layout page showing the more recent, less-embellished version, as well.
Your pattern is packed into a clear 9″ x 12″ zip-lock bag, and includes a cover page with a color photograph of the recently completed project, a page of detailed instructions, a page of the pattern elements, and four pages comprising a line drawing of the original piece, which will you trim where indicated, and then tape together at the numbered alignment hash marks. On the Fabric Requirements page is also a close-up photo of one corner of the original.
If you are also purchasing the kit, it will include the black wool background fabric (a densely woven coat-weight) and all the 100% wool felt for this colorful Jacobean design. The felt behind the black wool background fabric, which in effect creates a lovely “border” for this project, is a wool blend.
