Description
Although German through and through, my mother seemed drawn to Jacobean styles when she went shopping for fabric for the curtains and drapes in our house, when I was growing up. This was also a house where frugality was a way of life, so the same curtains and drapes hung in the mid 1960s were still in place fifteen years later. Apparently they made an impression on me, because although I had no photos for reference, the day I sat down, decades later, to sketch some Jacobean elements for this design, I could still clearly remember what was on those curtains and drapes.
And here they are … in this beautifully colorful 15″ round table topper.
Your pattern is packed into a clear 9″ x 12″ reclosable bag, the contents of which include a cover page with a color photograph of the completed piece, a page of detailed instructions, two pages of the pattern elements, and four pages comprising a full-size line drawing of the entire project.
If you are also purchasing the kit, it will include the black wool background fabric and all the colorful wool fabric for the lovely display of Jacobean flowers.
