Wool Applique Pattern “American Kitchen 1947” summer table runner

The idea for this cheerful runner came from the mid-1900s things on my kitchen counter, collected over the years in antique shops. America was just coming out of some truly terrible times, and it seems the colorful brightness of the “new era” predominated in its kitchens.

When completed, this wool applique table runner project measures 32 1/4″ long x 8 1/4″ wide.

Your pattern is packed into a clear 9″ x 12″ recloseable poly bag. It includes a cover page with 2 color photographs, comprehensive written instructions, a page of pattern elements with additional instructions, three pages comprising a full-sized line drawing of the completed runner, and a page listing the fabric requirements.
